When you choose Iggy Pup, your dog becomes part of the Iggy Pup family, giving you complete peace of mind that they’re in safe, caring hands.

Initial Consultation – Meet & Greet

Every new client begins with a friendly meet and greet where I take the time to get to know you and your dog. I’ll discuss their quirks, routine, and specific needs to ensure I provide the best possible dog walking or dog sitting experience.
During your free initial consultation, I’ll learn all about your dog’s personality and preferences. I’ll also assess how they get along with others to make sure each walking group, if applicable, is a great match, ensuring everyone has the best time possible.

With Iggy Pup, your dog’s care, safety, and happiness is always my top priority. I'm an experienced animal carer who understands that every dog is unique, which is why I provide a dog walking and care service that’s not only professional, but also personal.
At Iggy Pup, I provide reliable, caring, and enjoyable dog walking services in Stockport and South Manchester, offering both group walks and solo walks tailored to your dog’s needs

I run three solo or group dog walks daily at morning, lunchtime, and mid-afternoon around Stockport and South Manchester. Each walk lasts a full 30 minutes or an hour, with group walks of no more than four dogs per group to ensure plenty of care and attention.
To make things easy, I’ll collect your dog directly from your home, enjoy a full 30 minutes or hour of dog walking time (the clock starts when the walk begins, not from collection), and return them happy, refreshed, and well-exercised. I’ll towel-dry your dog before returning them, ensuring they come home as clean and comfortable as possible.

I love to keep our dog walks varied to provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Your dog will explore a mix of beautiful locations — from woods and fields to canal paths and bridleways — depending on your pickup area. I make sure not to repeat the same route two days in a row to keep things exciting and enriching.

If your puppy hasn’t had their injections yet, I offer puppy visits, giving me the chance to pop in, let your pup out for a toilet break, and enjoy some playtime to break up their day. It’s a great way to keep them happy, stimulated, and supported while you’re busy.

Once your puppy is ready for short walks, I offer 30-minute puppy walks designed to give them gentle exercise without overexertion. These walks are tailored to your puppy’s age and energy levels, and I sometimes bring along George, my friendly helper dog, for extra company and confidence building(if you’d like!).

During puppy walks, your dog will gradually be introduced to some of the Iggy Pup family to encourage positive socialisation. I’ll also help them get used to car travel, making future group walks stress-free. In addition, I’ll start working on recall training to help your puppy become confident, safe, and responsive when off-lead.

I currently offer two main puppy visits per day — one in the morning for a walk or play session, and another in the afternoon if you’d like a second visit.

THE MAN BEHIND IGGY

About me
Hi, I’m Danny, the founder of Iggy Pup, a local, friendly, and trustworthy dog walking and dog sitting service based in Stockport and South Manchester. After more than 25 years working in the advertising industry, I decided to swap the office life for the thing I love most: caring for dogs. I’ve been a proud dog owner for many years, and my own pup has been the inspiration behind starting this new chapter.

As part of the Iggy Pup family, dogs always come first. I’m passionate about creating a safe, fun, and reliable environment where every dog is cared for as if they were my own. Whether it’s daily dog walks, holiday care, or flexible visits, I’m here to support busy pet owners and give their dogs the attention and affection they deserve.

I’m fully insured, DBS checked, hold a Diploma in Dog Walking and Pet Sitting, ensuring professional, responsible care at all times. For your peace of mind, I follow the NARPS UK (National Association of Pet Sitters) Code of Practice, which you can read here. Having lived in South Manchester and Stockport for over 30 years, I understand how important trust is when it comes to your four-legged family member—so reliability, communication, and compassion are at the heart of everything I do.

Thank you for visiting—I can’t wait to meet you and your dog!
